Whats is the new A.W.E.D menu going to be?

After all those delicious and cheesy goodies from you, I thought why not go for something which is light, simple and yet very healthy cuisine for this months theme. I mean after seeing the Chef's whipping up such goodies, a little more challenge is a must - dont you think so? You proved your talent and posing simple themes henceforth will be considered an insult to your prowess - me thinks!

Hence, A.W.E.D goes a bit into not-so-known category. I know there are quite a bunch for whom vietnamese needs no introduction, but there are also many of us, who have no idea of the differences between say Thai, Vietnamese or Chinese. Every dish could be wither Vietnamese or Chinese Well you are not completely wrong if you thought so since they do have lots of similar essence to them but with subtle differences. I am no authority but from my experience Thai reminds me of peanut sauce and lemongrass and generally the dish is on the sweeter side while Vietnamese would make me picture a dish full of greens/vegetables and herbs. And when I say lots of vegetables, you know that this theme is going to be a breeze for you in the sense that not that much work is involved in trying to make Non-vegetarian into Veg.

They have lots of Buddhist vegetarian dishes and most of their dishes can be easily replaced to make into a vegetarian. So with a cuisine which has a key words like Vegetables, Herbs and Spice built into it, it should sure be easy and of course be good for you isnt it?

Here are few pointers to Vietnamese dishes - both vegetarian and non-vegetarian - to give an idea of their cuisine which you must convert into vegetarian/vegan to fit into this theme. I emphasise on the convertion since I still recieve meat based dishes and it is time consuming for both you and me - for you since you sit and prepare and do the linking and for me - since I have to unfortunately say No to your entries. I hate to do that in case you dint realise ;-)
