My daily blog-hunt bought me to this wonderful eggless banana-walnut cake from Mahanandi and i was hooked. My husband loves all the bread experiments I make, so I thought why not make it into a bread recipe. Made couple of variations and the Bread was ready. My variations were inclusion of cinnamon, which I love for its heavenly smell, and wheatgerm. From the moment, I got to know its health benefits, it has been a regular addition in my recipes.
The end result was , that it got over even before I had time to admire it!. This is my entry to Coffee's this month's MBP-Bread and to Ahaar's JFI-Banana
Method
1.Preheat Oven to 400F. Grease a bread/loaf pan Sift the flour along with baking powder,salt,cinnamon in a bowl and then

add the wheatgerm

2. In another bowl cream the butter along with sugar and beat till light and fluffy

Add the pureed bananas and chopped walnuts and mix.

Now add the dry ingrediants and stir to incorporate all together

Pour them into the loaf pan

and bake for 45-50 min or until a wooden skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.Cool and serve.
