what a lovely colour DK.Homemade jams are always special without preservatives.I am going to make apricot jam soon and great suggestion of using brown sugar combo.

I hardly ever buy jams because I find them too sweet. And its not too difficult to preserve fruit at home so this is waht I do too.

Your jam is great and smart all in one. Strawberries are already sweet - why all the sugar? I, of course didn't think of using less sugar and made jam earlier and found it just too sweet.
